THE
PROCESS:
The design process begins
with the initial consultation. The landscape design professional from American
Beauty Landscape Design meets with you, the client, to listen and better understand
your vision, expectations and needs and works as a consultant to help you discover
available options and possibilities.
The
landscape designer will walk your site and locate existing assets on the property
as well as any potential liabilities or problem areas that need to be addressed.
This is followed by a review of the American Beauty Landscape Design portfolio
of completed projects for ideas, solutions for problem areas and examples of the
quality work and craftsmanship.
American
Beauty Landscape Design will complete a site analysis, which locates existing
structures and other elements from our site visit on paper. A copy of your plot
plan will be requested and in some cases ask that your surveying company install
permanent markers on your property insuring the exact location of property lines.
From the site analysis
and your plot plan, a MASTER landscape PLAN and three dimensional sketches will
be created.
The landscape
designer will meet with you at the site with the landscape plan and material samples.
The full details of the plan will be reviewed along with material options. Revisions
are made at that time and a final plan will be agreed upon.
Your
agreement will be written with exact material choices, installation specifications,
order of operations and an installation time line and payment schedule.
SINGLE
ELEMENT PLANS
Single
element plans may be used when a project does not require a master plan. Full
attention to detail and fact finding remains the same no matter the size of the
project.
Three dimensional
sketches are used to illustrate the concept and then the designer lays out the
locations on the ground so you can see the size of your patio or where the plants
will be located.
Once
finalized, you will receive your project agreement listing the exact material
choices installation specifications, order of operations, installation time line
and payment schedules.
